Soft C and G Treasure Hunt:
   - Hide flashcards around the room, each containing a word with either a soft c or g sound (e.g., "cage," "gem").
   - Provide players with a list of words containing both soft c and g sounds.
   - Players hunt for the flashcards and match them to the words on their list.
   - Once all the cards are found, players share their findings and discuss the sounds represented by soft c and g in each word.

Y's Job Relay:
   - Divide players into teams and set up 3 stations representing the different jobs of Y (long e, long i, and short i).
   - Place flashcards at each station, displaying words where Y acts as a different sound.
   - Players take turns racing to the stations, identifying the role of Y in the displayed words, and writing down as many words they can think of that use Y in the same way before moving to the next station.
   - The team to generate the most Y as a vowel words wins the relay.

Floss Rule Challenge:
   - Create a set of word cards using the words on the back of the floss rule cards in the discovery deck. Add some words that do not follow the floss rule.
Shuffle the cards and place them face down.
-Players take turns drawing a card and determining if the word follows the floss rule (ends in double consonants after a short vowel).
-If they correctly identify the word and read it correctly, they keep the card. If not, it goes back into the pile.
-The player with the most cards at the end, wins!
